Lucid Privacy Policy

Overview

Lucid provides AI-assisted executive coaching. This policy explains what information is processed, who receives it, and your choices.

Information We Process

How We Use Information

Storage and Sharing

Your saved chats, goals and reflections stay in Lucid on your device. With your explicit permission, messages, relevant conversation history, voice transcripts and enabled profile fields are shared with our service providers to generate coaching replies, rehearsals, goal drafts and session notes.

Apple provides sign-in, speech recognition and subscription billing. Vercel supports delivery of the service, and Groq processes coaching content for AI responses. RevenueCat handles subscription identifiers and access status. Upstash processes usage and abuse-prevention records, not saved coaching conversations. Feedback you choose to submit may be handled by Resend and, where enabled, Google. We do not sell your personal information.

Updated builds keep a separate local workspace for each Apple sign-in. Signing out hides your workspace without deleting it. Signing back into the same account on the same device reopens it; this is not iCloud backup or cross-device sync. Unassigned records from older builds are not automatically imported.

Use roles such as 'my manager' instead of real names, and avoid company names or confidential details. Lucid does not automatically remove identifying details before AI processing. Current app diagnostics do not record coaching content. Providers may retain information under their own applicable terms; these app controls do not erase information already sent or historical copies.

Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and operational need.

After account deletion, we retain a pseudonymous account reference, the used free-message count and a security record to prevent reuse of old sessions and renewal of the free allowance. These records are not anonymous. Limited information may also be kept while deletion is being completed. Contact us to request a review of retained information.

Deletion removes detailed account usage records and feedback from our configured support storage and requests deletion of the RevenueCat customer record. Provider cleanup may not be immediate. Aggregate service statistics and separate device/network abuse-prevention records may remain. Previously delivered support emails can require manual cleanup, and provider copies remain subject to applicable retention requirements. Deletion cannot recall information already processed.

Your Choices

You can decline or withdraw AI-processing permission in Settings and still view saved local records. Withdrawal stops subsequent AI requests; it does not recall previously sent information. Use Settings > Account > Delete Account to initiate deletion. Confirmation is required. After server cleanup succeeds, updated builds remove the current account's local coaching records and profile settings, and clear local notifications and technical logs. Other accounts' workspaces and unassigned older local records are not removed. Copies on other devices are not remotely erased.

Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. To revoke Apple's sign-in authorization after deletion, remove Lucid under Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings.
